## Test Procedure

A polygraph examination consists of three parts:
1. **Pre-test interview** — Examiner and examinee discuss the issue and formulate questions together. All questions are explained and agreed upon before testing begins.
2. **Testing phase** — Physiological responses (respiration, skin electrical activity, blood pressure, heart rate, peripheral blood volume) are recorded as the examinee answers yes/no questions.
3. **Post-test interview** — Results are reviewed and a written report is provided.

A typical exam takes 2–3 hours depending on complexity. Nervousness and anxiety do not affect the results.
